Day of Action – Encampment Removal |

On 14/10/2026, West Green Ward officers joined Haringey Council and Veolia for a coordinated Day of Action targeting illegal encampments within Lordship Recreation Ground and Downhills Park.
Working in partnership, one encampment was removed, a large amount of waste was cleared, and action was taken to address anti-social behaviour and environmental concerns.
During the operation, one Community Protection Warning (CPW) was issued in Downhills Park. This forms part of West Green Ward's ongoing work to tackle ASB, with officers having now issued 14 Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) and 3 Community Protection Notices (CPNs).
A huge thank you to all partners involved for their professionalism and teamwork. Together, we remain committed to keeping Haringey's neighbourhoods safer, cleaner and more welcoming for everyone.
